14-member advisory committee appointed to advise National Economic Council

 

President Gotabaya Rajapaksa has appointed a 14-member advisory committee to advise the National Economic Council, Co-cabinet Spokesman Plantation Minister Dr Ramesh Pathirana. 

 

He was speaking to the media at this week’s cabinet media briefing held today at the Government Information Department. 

 

Minister Pathirana said the Cabinet of Ministers granted its consent to the proposal made by President Gotabaya Rajapaksa to appoint this advisory committee consisting of Prof. H.D. Karunaratne, Prof. Shirantha Heenkenda, Dhammika Perera, Krishan Balendran, Ashroff Omar, Dushni Weerakoon, Dr. Hans Wijesuriya, Vish Govindasamy, S. Ranganathan, Ranjit Page, Suresh de Mel, Duminda Hulangamuwa, Sujeewa Mudalige and Prabash Subasinghe.
