600,000 narcotics pills bound for Sri Lanka seized

In Ramanathapuram, the Tamil Nadu Police discovered an attempt to smuggle 600,000 pills of a prohibited drug to Sri Lanka. In the state of Ramanathapuram, close to Vedalai village, the Tamil Nadu Police reportedly found 600,000 narcotic pills.

The tablets were allegedly discovered in a country boat travelling to Sri Lanka, according to the Q Branch Police.Police have launched an investigation to arrest the escaped smugglers. (Foreign Media)
