925 suspects were arrested during islandwide drug prevention operations on Sunday (18) under the “Ratama Ekata” national campaign, Police said.
A total of 932 raids were conducted, with detention orders obtained for 23 suspects and 2 individuals referred for rehabilitation.
Seizures included heroin, ice, cocaine, cannabis, cannabis plants, kush, drug pills, madanamodaka, and mawa.
Police said that operations under the “Ratama Ekata” campaign will continue to intensify islandwide to combat drug trafficking and abuse. (NewsWire)
