Abolish Executive Presidency – Lal Kantha

National People’s Power (NPP) Executive Member K. D. Lal Kantha yesterday said that his political life  is not a short time and he has seen a lot of political violence during that time.

Lal Kantha also mentioned that the time has come to bring back the slogan “Let’s Abolish the Executive Presidency”. He was speaking at a rally in Nawalapitiya.

Lal Kantha also said that a people’s struggle should be launched to secure the people’s right to vote. “People should be prepared for a massive struggle to ensure the people of their right to vote,” he said.
