Addalaichenai Ashraff Sports Club won the Addalaichenai DS division kabaddi championship of the therd consecutive year beating Blue Eleven Sports Club, Addalaichenai in the final at the Addalaichenai Ashraff Memorial Public Play Grounds recently.
This tournament was organized by the Addalaichenai Divisional Secretariat Sports Officer M.H.M.Aswath under the guidance and supervision of Addalaichenai Divisional Secretary M.A.C.Ahamed Sabir. The Kabaddi tournament was held as a part of Addalaichenai inter division sports meet -2022. Altogether four registered teams from Addalaichenai DS division took part. The Addalaichenai Ashraff SC and Addalaichenai Blue Eleven SC Kabaddi teams qualified for the final. Addalaichenai Ashraff SC team won the final.
The Addalaichenai Ashraff SC team beat Addalaichenai Sober SC team in the semi final while Addalaichenai Blue Eleven SC team beat Addalaichenai Supersonic SC team in the other semi final.
The champion players at this competition will have to contest at Ampara District level competition shortly as they are the Addalaichenai Divisional Champions will be conducted by the Eastern Province Sports Department. Those who win in the District level will be allowed to partake at Provincial level.
