Agriculture, Livestock, Irrigation and Lands Minister Lal Kantha on Wednesday (18) met US Ambassador in Colombo Julie Chung.
Their discussion focused on collaboration in modernising agriculture, enhancing food security, and improving the livelihoods of Sri Lankans.
The US Ambassador said that agricultural trade between the two countries has more than doubled in the past 10 years and both nations look forward to continuing that trend.
