SJB Parliamentarian Kabir Hashim yesterday said that the JVP is spreading lies to woo people with an objective of winning the election. “The JVP which was against the foreign investments in the country has started talking about bringing investments to the country,” he said.
Hashim said that the JVP has changed its policies aiming at elections.“The JVP which was against the restructuring state ventures is now saying that selected government entities need restructuring,” he said.
He was speaking at an election rally held in Warakapola to ensure the victory of SJB presidential candidate Sajith Premadasa yesterday. “They are now saying that the private education helps develop the country and private education should be allowed with proper regulation,” he said.
Hashim said that JVP Leader Anura Kumara Dissanayake and his party lack firm policies and they are trying to adopt the policies of the SJB.
