Akkaraipattu Deens Star Sports Club beat Chocomo Sports Club, Akkaraipattu in the final to emerge champions and bagged the ‘Late Jabeer Memorial BSC Mega Night Trophy-2023’ of the eight-a- side limited 5 over’s floodlit cricket tournament.
Akkaraipattu Bathur Sports Club officials has organized the tournament while 35 Sports Clubs from the area participated. The final match was played between the Akkaraipattu Deens Star Sports Club and Chocomo Sports Club, Akkaraipattu Cricket Teams. Akkaraipattu Deens Star SC secured championship and Akkaraipattu Chocomo SC was the runner-up at the tournament. The Akkaraipattu Municipal Council (MC) former Mayor Athaullah Ahamed Zackie graced the occasion as the Chief Guest at the award ceremony.
