An alms giving was held yesterday (19) in front of the Sanda Hiru Seya to the Maha Sangha who arrived from many areas of the country. The Maha Sangha included the Anu Nayaka Theras of the Tri-Nikayas. President Gotabaya Rajapaksa with Tri-Forces Commanders and the IGP performing Penwedeema to pass merits on the war heroes who sacrificed their lives to free the country from the scourge of terrorism.
