Sri-Lanka Ports Authority beat National Savings Bank by 70 runs in the Division one T/20 cricket finals, organised by the Nationalised Services Cricket Association, played at the NSCA grounds, Ratmalana.

SLPA with a star studded outfit taking first lease got off to a fine start with openers Yohan Charuka and Yohan de Silva putting up a solid 77 runs partnership and Gayan Maneeshan’s contribution took them to 120 runs for loss of 3 wickets, Gihan Rupasinghe with a splendid knock of 51 not out in 29 balls ( 5 fours and 3 sixes) and Anuk de Alwis with a blistering knock of 50 not out ( 5 sixes and 3 fours) , the pair together with much understanding between the wickets got the score board ticking by adding 104 runs for the fourth wicket to guide them to a comfortable position. Kelum was the pick of the bowlers capturing 2 scalps.

NSB chasing this total lost their first wicket at 9 runs, but Vinod and Bhanuka took the challenge, the pair added 68 runs for the second wicket and with the dismissal of these two batters and wickets falling at regular intervals made it difficult to get closer to the target , the only other two batsmen who got into double figures were Kelum and Diluka. Anuk de Alwis who made a half ton for SLPA was the wrecker claiming 3 vital scalps and earned him the man of the match award.
