“Anura’s claims of earning foreign exchange from graphite are mere words”

Tissa Attanayake, National Organizer of the Samagi Jana Balawega (JB) said yesterday (30) that National People’s Power (NPP) leader Anura Kumara Dissanayake’s answers to the questions of how to develop the country’s economy are only words claiming that he is looking for foreign exchange from graphite.

Attanayake said this while joining the press conference held yesterday (30) at the Opposition Leader’s office.

He said that when the leaders of the NPP went to the United States, they told one story and came to Sri Lanka and told another story, but the people have not changed even though their words have been changed.

Attanayake commenting further said: “I would like to tell Anura Kumara Dissanayake to come to Sri Lanka and say what was said in USA. Then people will accept what the policies of the National People’s Power are.

“These matters were mentioned not to criticize the National People’s Power, but to inform the people of the country about their double standards.”
