A millionaire businessman who has been selling drugs such as ICE, heroin and Kerala Cannabis near the Beruwala Fisheries Harbour has been arrested at Magalkanda’s suspect’s house along with a stock of heroin, ICE and Kerala Cannabis worth Rs.600,000.
According to information received by the Police, the suspect has been selling drugs to fishermen who are addicts in Beruwala. The Police team raided the house of the suspect and found 5,220 mg of heroin, 7,600 mg of the ICE drug, and 45,000 mg of Kerala Cannabis in the house. The suspect is to be produced before the Kalutara Magistrate Courts.
