Atlas Axillia recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with ECO SPINDLES Pvt Ltd to reduce plastic waste in Sri Lanka.

The agreement was signed to forge a partnership focused on enhancing the recycling of plastic waste, preventing its accumulation in the environment and renewing plastics that would otherwise deteriorate, causing harm to human health.
Atlas Axillia Managing Director Asitha Samaraweera with Randika De Silva, the Head of Marketing of Atlas Axillia and Nadeeka Jayasinghe, Head of Corporate Affairs of Atlas Axillia were present at the event. Representing ECO SPINDLES Pvt. Ltd., Prasantha Malimbadage, Chief Project Officer and Chief Executive Officer, reached an agreement with Atlas Axillia to achieve its goal of recycling more than 1.5 million kilo grams of plastic. This initiative seeks to improve the collection and recycling of PET bottles, thereby minimising environmental pollution.
