‘Motor Show 2023’ was organized by Mas Exhibition and Convention and was held at the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH), from April 28-30. The Automobile Association of Ceylon (AAC) was the main sponsor for this event.
There were over forty stalls which exhibited the Vintage and Classic Cars and Motor Cycles. The newly manufactured Sri Lankan made Motor Cycles manufactured by Richard Peiris and Company was also on display.
The opening ceremony of the Show was held on April 28 and was opened by Ananda Dangalla, Senior Vice President and Vice Chairman in the presence of Keerthi Gunawardena, Vice President and Devapriya Hettiarachchi, the Secretary of the Association and Palitha Sirimanna, Chief Engineer and Deputy Director of the BMICH.
The AAC was provided with two stalls at the show, where interested persons could have enrolled as members of the Association Members and purchased the AAC badges and obtained International Driving Permits.
