A special event was held in this regard yesterday evening at the Bahrain Grand Swiss-Belhotel.
A large number of Ambassadors from different countries participated in this colourful ceremony which was conducted under the patronage of the Undersecretary for International Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the kingdom of Bahrain, Shaikh Abdulla bin Ahmed Al Khalifa and the Secretary of the Ministry of Labour of Bahrain.
The Brazilian Ambassador to Bahrain Adriano Silva Pucci , won the free flight ticket provided by Gulf Air in the raffle for the guests of the event.
The cultural dance show presented by Pibidena Sri Lanka Parapura was highly praised by the guests, and they enjoyed the special documentary films made about Sri Lanka.
The Sri Lankan Ambassador to Bahrain thanked the King of the Kingdom of Bahrain, the Prime Minister led by the Kingdom of Bahrain for all the privileges and facilities provided on behalf of the Sri Lankan community working in Bahrain during her Speech while Undersecretary for International Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the kingdom of Bahrain especially thanked the Sri Lankan community for contributing to the development of Bahrain and also the service of Sri Lankan Ambassador was greatly appreciated.
