Bank Ceylon recently entered into an exclusive partnership with the Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka to promote digital payment facilities through the bank’s Online Payment Gateway (IPG).
The ceremony took place recently with the patronage of the bank’s Assistant General Manager Sabaragamuwa Province, W.M.N.D. Dayawansa, Regional Manager Embilipitiya, J.D. B.W. Jayakody, Manager University of Sabaragamuwa Branch, H.M.S. Herath, Manager Thalduwa Branch, S.N. Dayarathne, Manager Balangoda Branch K.K.J. R. Samarasekara and Indunil Athukorala from Provincial Sales Unit. Meanwhile, University of Sabaragamuwa Vice Chancellor Prof. R.M.U.S.K. Rathnayake, Dean of Faculty of Graduate Studies Prof. H.M.S. Priyanath, Registrar S. Uyangoda, Centre for Open and Distance Learning Director D. Jasingha , Bursar K.A.R.S. Jayakody Bursar Acting W.A.M.P. Senadheera and Senior Assistant Bursar Salary, R.M.N.K. Rathnayake graced the occasion representing the University.

Bank of Ceylon was yet again recognized among world’s top 1,000 banks by ‘’The Banker MagazineUK”. Despite various challenges, BOC maintains a strong balance sheet compromised of an asset base of over Rs.4 trillion and deposit base of over Rs.3 trillion in commanding its local peers. Bank of Ceylon captured the No.1 Banking Brand in Sri Lanka for the 14th consecutive year in the “Brand Finance Lanka’s – Brand Annual” for the year 2022,while also becoming the sole Banking brand to surpass a brand value over Rs. 50 billion.
