Belarus Ambassador assigned to Sri Lanka (operating from India), Andrei Rzheussky was on an official visit to Sri Lanka, made a visit to the National Chamber of Commerce of Sri Lanka on February 2, with the officials from the Embassy to explore bilateral trade and economic cooperation between Sri Lanka and Belarus.
The delegates were received by National Chamber President Deepal Nelson, Senior Deputy President Anura Warnakulasooriya, Chairman of the National Chamber Automobile and Automotive Components committee Sarath Algama, Chairman of the National Chamber Engineering and Construction committee Kalana Alwis, Chairman of the National Chamber Gem and Jewellery Committee Pinsiri Wijepala, Council Member/President, National Chamber Youth Forum Dumindu Karunagoda and Bandula Dissanayake, Secretary General/CEO and discussed the opportunities among their respective industries.
It is expected to conduct B2B virtual meetings between the National Chamber of Commerce of Sri Lanka and National Centre for Marketing and Price Study (NCMPS) of Belarus in the near future.
