Blood donation camp held in Trincomalee to mark Navy’s 73rd Anniversary

A blood donation camp was held at the Naval Hospital – Trincomalee in commemoration of the 73rd Anniversary of the Sri Lanka Navy on Friday (1).

The Navy has made arrangements to celebrate its 73rd Anniversary next Saturday (9), prioritizing social responsibility initiatives and religious programmes.

This programme had been organised following the directives of Navy Commander Vice Admiral Priyantha Perera, under the supervision of Commander Eastern Naval Area, Rear Admiral Suresh De Silva. The Naval personnel from the Eastern Naval Command contributed to the noble cause of saving lives through blood donation.
