According to Indian media reports, the incident occurred near Pushpa Park shortly after the actor had finished playing football and was preparing to leave the venue.
Three unidentified men reportedly opened fire at Shroff’s vehicle while a crowd of fans had gathered nearby.
Although the actor escaped unharmed, his driver and an autorickshaw driver sustained injuries during the shooting. The injured were taken to hospital for treatment.
Mumbai Police confirmed that Shroff was safe and had not sustained any gunshot injuries.
Deputy Commissioner of Police Mohit Garg said the incident was reported within the jurisdiction of the Juhu Police Station and that an investigation was underway.
