Dinusha Perera and Lakshika Udayangani

British Universe Language Academy (BULA) Kelaniya will be expanding their operations to Negombo, Nuwara Eliya and Kaduwela to meet the growing demands they receive from students.

Founder Chairman and Managing Director, BULA, Dinusha Perera said that they commenced operations in 2006 January and was rebranded as British Universe Language Academy 2000 August.

Our main areas of education are languages and ICT education and our novel and result oriented teaching methods are the key to drive new students to us.”

In addition to our online classroom, we also offer an option to take part in a live classroom using the most up-to-date facilities and computer equipment. These courses are aimed for anyone who wants to start their own path and possibly work as a freelancer or employee in the field.”

“Due to the growing requirements in the area for after school classes we have also moved into this segment and our student population now exceeds 200.”

He said that even long before the concept of online education was introduced in Sri Lanka (mainly after the C-19 pandemic) they had moved into this segment. “Hence none of our students’ studies were at a loss during the lockdowns.”

Perera also said that they will soon be introducing BSC Higher Education Qualification to their campus in association with British University.

Vice Chairman, Lakshika Udayangani said that they have classes from kindergarten to A/L and they adopt several novel education methods which have come to high praise from both students and parents.

“These include music, games and other similar activities to increase students’ education learning skills.”
