Build Sri Lanka Housing & Construction International Expo from May 10-12 at BMICH

Premier Build Sri Lanka Housing & Construction International Expo 2024 hosted by Chamber of Construction Industry of Sri Lanka will be held from May 10 to 12 at BMICH with several novel features.

This year the Exhibition is held on the slogan “We will Build Sri Lanka” to rejuvenate the Construction Industry and country’s economy. For the first time they will host a dedicated Chinese pavilion and this has attracted Chinese companies. In a bid to provide a marketplace for new SME companies, the event will also have a special pavilion for new SME companies to showcase their products and services.

In addition foreign companies from India and Malaysia too would participate in the event, said Secretary General / CEO, Chamber of Construction Industry of Sri Lanka Eng.Nissanka N. Wijeratne.A special feature that will draw attention to visitors will be a special area dedicated for Tri Services to showcase the silent work they did towards the construction sector in Sri Lanka.

This exhibition will also feature many stalls of companies from several countries making it a truly international exhibition. He said that with the economy picking up there is tremendous enthusiasm from exhibitors and due to this year’s exhibition will also go down in history as the event held with the highest number of stall holders. Over 50,000 trade visitors are expected to attend the event. President Ranil Wickremesinghe Ambassador of People’s Republic of China, Qi Zhen Hong will be the main invitees of the event.

Build Sri Lanka 2024 will showcase the latest developments in the building and construction industry, with eminent industry experts, stake holders and decision makers in attendance, making it an ideal event to source new products, network and usher in new contacts and business opportunities.
