The European Union (EU), with the concurrence of the Sri Lanka Government, has appointed Carmen Moreno as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the European Union to Sri Lanka based in Colombo. She presented credentials to President Ranil Wickremesinghe, on Tuesday (24) at Presidential Secretariat, Colombo.
