CCTV footage has emerged showing the fatal shooting reported near the BCC Bridge in Maligawatte, Colombo.
According to Police, the gunman had arrived on a motorcycle, opened fire at the victim and fled the area.
The victim succumbed to his injuries following the shooting.
The deceased is reported to be a close relative of organised crime figure Kanjipani Imran.
Police have launched investigations into the shooting and are working to identify and arrest those involved. (Newswire)
