Health Minister Dr. Keheliya Rambukwella told Parliament yesterday an investigation has been launched concerning the death of a child who underwent kidney surgery at the LRH. According to the
LRH Director, one of the removed kidneys is still under the frozen storage condition at LRH. However, there are contradictions in various statements made by doctors at LRH. Now the case is pending in the Courts and all the related documents at the Ministerial level will be submitted for the legal process.
