A complaint has been made to the CID by the Army Intelligence Director against a YouTube channel spreading terror in the country.
It is reported that the Director of Army Intelligence has made a complaint to the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) yesterday (11) against an individual named Ajith Dharmapala, who runs a YouTube Channel-International Organisation to free Sri Lankan Police From Politics, creating news from a foreign country and affects the intelligence mechanism and national security.
The Army Intelligence Director had complained that this person in question is exposing intelligence officers who are dedicated to the national security of the country, making their lives unsafe.
Filing this complaint the Army Intelligence Director has requested the Criminal Investigation Department to carry out a comprehensive investigation into this matter due to the fact that it
appears that the false information presented by this YouTube channel has the potential to create an environment that can create racist panic and make the people of the country restless.
