The Colombo Stock Exchange recorded its largest single-day point drop in history on Monday, with the All Share Price Index (ASPI) plunging 1,290.68 points.
The ASPI closed at 22,443.38, marking a decline of 5.44% at the end of trading.
Market turnover was recorded at Rs. 9.56 billion, according to the CSE.
