Colours Award Ceremony of Mahamaya Girls School,Kandy was held on the 4th of November,2022 in the auditorium of the School under the patronage of Major General Jagath Kodituwakku, Chief of Staff representing the Commander of S/L Army, Wikum Liyanage, and the Guest of Honour was Hyacinth Wijesinghe, an Old Girl and the National Netball Coach of Sri Lanka.
The Chief Guest and the other distinguished Guests were received at the entrance by the Principal of the School,Sashikala Senadheera with the POG Nilu Wijekoon. Most of the Outstanding Sportswomen of Mahamaya of the last three years received Awards,such as Merit Awards, Colours Awards and Best Performers Awards presented in connection with most of the Sports disciplines and supremacy awards were received by Devindya Jayawardena for Swimming and Panchali Adikari for Badminton and a joint Award was received by Tharushi Rodrigo for Table Tennis and Onethra Weerasinghe for Swimming.
