The Ethul Kotte branch of the Commons Coffee House functioning with its payoff line ‘your cozy hangout’ being one of the oldest coffee houses in Colombo was opened recently.
“Our aim consistently has been offering peace of mind for the people who engage with us. With the opening of the Ethul Kotte Commons outlet we take our coffee shop concept to the suburbs. The new outlet with its mobile Roti cart will cater to diverse segments in the society”, said owner of Commons Coffee House Harpo Gooneratne.
“Commons Roti cart would come to the customers’ doorsteps on request to cater to private parties or get-togethers. Revival of this age-old Roti cart concept will take people down the memory lane and remind them of the good old days when the mobile Roti vendor manning Roti cart visited their doorsteps”, he added.
Commons Coffee House located in Ethul Kotte with ample car parking space offers easy access to people in the vicinity.
“Restaurant industry is steadily growing and perfect competition is very healthy for this business to grow. From the inception we have been benchmarking with superior restaurateurs in the world to bring innovations and to add value to our business.”
“All Commons outlet will offer Halal food with the same quality and stringent quality checks are being carried out constantly.”
Harpo’s food business owns a chain of restaurants in the country namely, The Bayleaf, The Commons Coffee House and Harpo’s Pizza, Park Street Mews Restaurant and the Curve Tapas Bar at the Park Street Mews Complex and Colombo Fort Cafe and also at the Dutch Hospital Complex.
