A newly established computer training center and upgraded library facility at the Muwadora Uyana Apartment Complex in North Colombo were officially handed over to resident children on September 28 by Minister of Transport, Highways and Urban Development Bimal Rathnayake.
The project executed under the guidance of the Ministry of Transport, Highways and Urban Development, included the upgrading of the Akura library alongside the construction of a new computer training facility situated on the ground floor of the Urban Development Authority (UDA) housing complex.
The facility was established and will be maintained by the Social Animation Division of the Urban Settlement Development Authority (USDA).
The handover ceremony included performances by the Peace Children’s Club composed of youth residing in the housing complex. (Newswire)
