Member of Parliament Dr. Harsha de Silva said that people accused of corruption and racism will not be a part of the broad political alliance which will be formed by the Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB).
He was addressing the media at the Opposition Leader’s office yesterday.
De Silva further said that people who agree with the policies and economic programme of the SJB are welcome to join the new alliance. He went on to say that the SJB has not declared that the country can move forward without economic reforms and by opposing tax imposition, but what the SJB is proposing was a more fair tax system so as not to burden the public further.
