Two bodies of a woman and a man were found at a guest house in Pothuvil.
The police said that woman’s body was lying in a pool of blood in the room while the man was found hanging inside the bathroom.
The manager of the guesthouse had informed police officers at the Argugam Bay and broke down the door of the room with them due to them not opening the door.
The deceased woman is a 35-year-old resident of Mahakalugolla and the man is 51-year-old from Puthivil, police said.
Further investigations are being conducted by the Puthivil Police.
