Sri Lanka Sports Minister Sunil Kumara Gamage said he believes cricket is “a batting game rather than a bowling game” while addressing the annual Sri Lanka Cricket Awards ceremony.
The Minister said Sri Lanka’s strength lies in batting and added that the national team’s disappointing T20 World Cup campaign was “not lost only because of the players.”
