A husband has lodged a complaint with the Nochchiyagama Police stating that his wife often beats him.
The complaint has been lodged by 59-year-old Cypriot, who is married to a 38-year-old Sri Lankan woman. The two had got married while the Sri Lankan woman was working in Cyprus, sometime back.
This foreign national, who resides with his wife in Mudithagama, Nochchiyagama, has told Police that his wife often beats and harasses him.
Police said that an investigation is being conducted in this regard.
