The Daily News together with the Chamber of Construction Industry of Sri Lanka last Wednesday launched the 100th issue of the CCI Bulletin at a ceremony held at the Lake House premises under the patronage of ANCL Chairman Prof. Harendra Kariyawasam. President of the Chamber of Construction Industry of Sri Lanka, Chartered Architect Jayantha Perera was also present.
Chamber of Construction Industry of Sri Lanka Secretary General and Chief Executive Officer Engineer Nissanka Wijeratne said that this is a unique supplement that brings the construction industry and all related sectors together to the forefront by building an environment-friendly space.
Wijeratne said the Daily News started issuing the CCI bulletin from 2015 based on a MoU. The issue of the CCI bulletin with the Daily News has been continuing for eight years successfully, he said.
The CCI also recognized the services of the Lake House staffers by presenting certificates of appreciation.
Lake House Chairman Professor Harindra Kariyawasam, Director Legal and Administration Janaka Ranathunga, Director Operations Manjula Makumbura, Director Finance Sunil Jayantha Nawaratne and Director Editorial Sisira Paranatantrie were also present.
