Danushka appears before Police for the first time

Danushka Gunathilaka, who was in police custody on a charge of sexually assaulting an Australian woman, appeared in public for the first time yesterday after being granted bail. According to the bail conditions, he has to report to the police station daily, and yesterday morning he reported to the Eastwood Police Station in North Sydney, according to local media.

As per his bail conditions, he is also prohibited from roaming outdoors at night and using social media. However, the Australian media also reported that he has been allowed to use one mobile phone.
