A daughter who stole gold items worth Rs. 1 million from her mother was taken into custody by Kuliyapitiya Police on Tuesday (5).
This theft took place at a house in Kuliyapitiya, Embawa. Police said that this 32-year-old daughter lives with his mother. The daughter occasionally took her mother’s gold items between June 15, and December 2.
Police said that the stolen items were a pair of earrings, a necklace, nine rings and a bracelet.
According to police, they have arrested the daughter through the investigations done according to her mother’s complaint.
Police managed to find some of the stolen goods after questioning from the suspect.
