Deneth Lanka pilots Old Rajans to victory

A fine all-round performance by former Cricket Captain of Dharmaraja College, Deneth Lanka helped the Old Rajans Cricket team to beat present Rajans Cricket team by Six runs in their Annual Bandula Gunaratne Memorial Cricket match concluded at Lake View Grounds on Sunday, the 2nd of January,2022.

Seven past Cricket Captains of the Rajans’ Cricket team represented the Old Rajans team and UpeshWijesiri who captained the centenary Cricket match against Kingswood led this team while Sachintha Dissanayake, son of Ruwan Dissanayake who represented the School Cricket team from 1989 to 1991 led the present Rajans’ team. The Old Rajans Cricket team was co-ordinated by Ajith Palihakkara, the Manager of the team and Present Rajans’ team by Saliya Samarawickrema (POG) was the Co-ordinator of the team.
