Colombo Fort Magistrate Thilina Gamage yesterday (12) ordered to remand Aragalaya activist Dhanish Ali and three others until August 26. The suspects were recently arrested for forcibly entering the President’s House and causing damage to its property. The Colombo Fort Police requested to place the suspects in remand custody until investigations are concluded.
Meanwhile, Danish Ali, who was remanded in connection with another case, was released on bail by Fort Magistrate Thilina Gamage yesterday.
He was released on two sureties of Rs.500,000 each.
