The Department of Posts announced that the distribution of official polling cards for the Parliamentary Election began yesterday (27).
Deputy Postmaster General Rajitha Ranasinghe stated that the delivery of the official polling cards to households will continue until November 7.
Ranasinghe noted that the official notices for the Colombo District had not yet been received; thus, no distributions were made in that district yesterday. However, a special distribution day has been scheduled for Sunday, November 3, to ensure delivery of the election notices in Colombo.
He added that the entire postal network would be actively engaged in distributing the polling cards.
