The election of new officer bearers for the Dompe Rotary Club for the year 2024 took place recently Hotel PT Gardens in Biyagama.
The Head of Arthur C. Clarke Centre and Astronomer Prof. Chandana Jayaratne was elected as the President. District Rotary President Jeremy Rajendan participated as the chief guest.A wheel-chair was donated to an 83-year-old woman living in Ratmalana, who is being treated for liver cancer, by Rotary President Prof. Chandana Jayaratne and other officials.
The office bearers include President, Prof. Chandana Jayaratne. Secretary Laksheen Fernando, Treasurer Supun Jayalath, Vice Presidents Vernon Gunaratne and Mahesh Gunaratne and Assistant Secretary Tarindu Ellepola.
