The 1st Charter Night and Installation of the 1st President of the Dompe Rotary Club Prof. Chandana Jayaratne and new Office Bearers assumed duties at a ceremony held at the Biyagama P.T. Gardens Hotel on December 2. District Governor Jerome Rajendram was the Chief Guest.
Dompe Rotary Club President Prof. Chandana Jayaratne donated a Wheel Chair to Sumithra Piyasena an eighty year old disabled lady from Ratmalana.
President-Elect Nimesh Sashintha, Secretary Lasheen Fernando, Asst. Secretary Tharindi Ellepola, Treasure Supun Jayalath, Asst. Treasure Bahdra Chandani, Vice President (1) Vernon Gunaratne and (2) Mahesh Gunaratne and Sgt-at-Arms Chaminda Indika were also present.
