The research paper submitted by Dr. Ranga Subash Jayakody won the Gold medal at the Management Research Forum 2024 organised by the Institute of Chartered Professional Managers of Sri Lanka (CPM Sri Lanka) under the concept ‘Achieving Business and Institutional Growth Through Insightful Research’.
Dr. Jayakody was awarded the Gold medal for his research titled ‘Managing Organisational Transformation when Integrating AI Tools into Business Practices – A Sri Lankan Perspective’ during the awards ceremony at the BMICH recently.
The competition was open to all professionals and research scholars/practitioners in Sri Lanka.
Dr. Jayakody, a past Anandian is a social Activist, Marketer and works at Technomedis Group of Companies. He holds a National Diploma in Engineering Sciences (NDES-IET Sri Lanka), Post Graduate Diploma In Engineering Council – UK under Electronic and Telecommunication, Master degree at Rajarata University and Ph.D. degree from the IIC University of Technology, Cambodia.
Dr. Jayakody specialises in Marketing, Administration and New Innovation such as New Business Development models based on Innovation and AI. Dr. Jayakody’s contributions have garnered citations, reflecting his impact in the fields of Administration and Marketing.
He is a Member of Institute of Chartered Professional Managers Sri Lanka (FCPM), Institute of Incorporated Engineers Sri Lanka (AMIE-SL), Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing and Sri Lanka Chamber of Medical Devices Industry.
Dr. Jayakody is also a prominent social activist and engages in social welfare efforts. He has been involved in public discourse, addressing issues related to disinformation in political contexts. Recently Peliyagoda Vidyalankara Pirivena hounourd Dr. Jayakody during its 148th anniversary celebrations for his social services targeting the needy in the area.
