The number of complaints received by the Election Commission (EC) in relation to the upcoming Parliamentary Election has exceeded 400.
A total of 58 complaints were received by the Commission on Saturday and the total number of complaints received up to Saturday is 401. The National Election Complaints Management Unit has received 158 complaints and the District Election Complaints Management Units have received 243 complaints.
All those complaints are related to breach of election laws and no complaints related to election-related violence have been reported so far, the Election Commission said.The Commission further stated that out of the 401 complaints received, 309 have already been resolved and 92 complaints are currently being investigated.
