Egg prices will come down in two weeks – Minister

Trade Minister Nalin Fernando told the media after a ceremony held in Kapuwatta  that the price of eggs will definitely be reduced in the next two weeks.

“The eggs that the country needs are not coming to the market. That’s why we imported eggs even though there was a lot of pressure.

The decisions taken by some people in the public service are not favorable to the people. Whatever challenges we will reduce the price of eggs and we will do it in the next two weeks,” he said.
