Eleven passengers including two foreigners were injured in an accident involving two buses and a bowser in Dodangoda on the Southern Expressway yesterday evening.
Police said that the accident had occurred when a bowser was trying to overtake a vehicle which had stopped due to a breakdown. Two passenger buses that came behind the bowser had also collided causing heavy traffic on the Expressway.
The injured have been admitted to the Kalutara General Hospital, Nagoda. Police said heavy damage has been caused to the buses.
