2012 Welikada Prison Riot:
Former Prisons Commissioner Emil Ranjan Lamahewa has been sentenced to death in connection with the 2012 Welikada Prison Riot case by the Colombo High Court.
Meanwhile, former Inspector of Police (IP) Neomal Rangajeewa from all charges in the case.
