England Lions cruised to a nine-wicket victory over Sri Lanka in their T20 warm-up match at Chelmsford, chasing down a target of 118 in just 7.2 overs.
Sri Lanka were bowled out for 117 in 16.4 overs after suffering a major top-order collapse.
The visitors slumped to 49/6 and were later reduced to 78/9 before Tharindu Ratnayake led a late recovery with a fighting 48 off 37 balls. Kusal Mendis contributed 29 off 22 deliveries.
Luke Wood was the pick of the England Lions bowlers, taking 4/27, while Will Jacks, Sonny Baker and Jafer Chohan claimed two wickets each.
England Lions then made light work of the chase, racing to 118/1 in only 7.2 overs.
Tom Banton smashed an unbeaten 56 from 24 balls, while Aneurin Donald struck 31 from just eight deliveries. Jacks finished unbeaten on 30 off 12 balls.
