Examination Commissioner General Amith Jayasundara said yesterday that the evaluation of the answer scripts of the Grade Five Scholarship Examination will begin tomorrow (7) and the evaluation of the answer scripts of the GCE Advanced Level Examination had begun on January 2.
He said that the Advanced Level Examination ended on December 31 and the answer script evaluation had started soon after on January 2.
He said that the Expectation of his department was to release the results of both these examinations to the students as soon as possible. The Grade Five Scholarship Exam answer script evaluation is planned to be completed within five days.
He stated that these evaluations are conducted during the school term and due to the school being held, there is a shortage in the number of panels to evaluate the A/Level answer sheets but added, the evaluation time does not have to be prolonged and can be completed on schedule.
