An exhibition of inventions and innovative creations of Sri Lankan school students was opened to coincide with the 80th anniversary of the Sri Lanka Association for the Advancement of Science at the Science Faculty of the Colombo University under the guidance of the Inventors Commission on Wednesday.
On the invitation of Professor Chandana Jayaratne, Colombo University’s Vice Chancellor Professor H. D. Karunaratne participated as the chief guest.
Colombo University Science Faculty’s Dean Prof. Upul Sonnadara, Sri Lanka Association for the Advancement of Science President Professor Ramani Wijesekara, Inventions Commission Director General Nalin Dolawatta and a group of students and parents participated.
