In keeping with its position as the undisputed leader in the automotive battery industry in Sri Lanka, Exide by Browns recently carried out an incentive-based dealer promotion, worth millions of Rupees. Approximately 200 dealers across the island were chosen for this programme, where over LKR 190 million worth of cash was distributed amongst the successful achievers.
The promotion was executed to recognise Exide’s valuable partnerships and further solidify existing relationships with its dealers, while also passing the benefits of this incentive to valued customers.
The campaign additionally served as a platform for motivation and reward during challenging times. The dealers highlighted that this initiative represented the highest incentive value ever received, within a short period, in the Automotive sector.
Automotive & Hardware Browns Group Cluster Chief Operating Office Ajith De Silva r said; “As one of the leading automotive companies in Sri Lanka, we continuously prioritise nurturing relationships with our dealers while diligently working to offer them the best incentives at all times. They are one of the most important conduits of our business. In addition, the very nature of this incentive is two-fold as it provides a catalyst for price reductions to be passed onto customers as well, thereby accelerating sales island-wide.”
A function to commemorate the promotion and recognise the top performers was recently held at the Galle Face Hotel. The event was graced by Sanakan Thamotharampillai Director/CEO Browns Group, Ajith De Silva Cluster COO Automotive & Hardware, Sarkar Parthar Director/CEO Associated Battery Manufacturers Ceylon Limited and Sajeewa Ranasinghe COO Associated Battery Manufacturers Ceylon Limited along with key officials from the Browns Group.
